Onshore Conductor Demolition Test

The Offshore Cutter is the flagship of the Prime® Pile Cutter line. It is designed to shear 24" (60 cm) to 36" (90 cm) offshore platform steel conductors filled with grout, and is remotely operated from the surface. Unit comes complete with Power Pack, 450' of hose, Hose Reel, biodegradable hydraulic oil, and bio-grease.

The test begins by hoisting the Prime® Offshore cutter into position
 		 The cutter is lowered over the conductor for the initial cut.
 		 The gate and pin are remotely closed before commencing the initial cut.

The blade is remotely engaged and the conductor is cut in half. The operator retracts the blade and the cutter is ready for another cut. Here are the end results. Approximate cutting
time is 50 seconds.
